PeerBot Privacy Notice
PeerBot is a text and phone-based support platform that may provide encouragement, resource navigation, motivational support, recovery information, referrals, and connection to affiliated community programs. PeerBot may operate directly or through partner services, community organizations, recovery programs, or branded support lines (collectively, “Affiliated Services”).
Information collected may include your phone number, message content, interaction history, support preferences, participation in incentives or rewards programs, records of consent, and limited service usage information needed to operate and improve support. We aim to collect the minimum information necessary.
Messages may be reviewed or processed by automated systems, including artificial intelligence tools, and may be routed to trained human responders, peer supporters, or affiliated organizations when support escalation is requested or deemed appropriate. Some affiliated services may maintain additional privacy practices.
PeerBot and affiliated services do not sell personal information. Reasonable steps are taken to secure stored information; however, text messaging, phone communication, and internet systems cannot be guaranteed fully confidential or secure.
PeerBot is not emergency response, crisis intervention, medical treatment, legal advice, or psychotherapy. If you may harm yourself or another person, call or text 988, contact emergency services, or seek immediate local assistance.
You may stop receiving messages at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for assistance. Participation in support programs or incentive systems is voluntary and may be subject to additional terms.
